- He knows about strategy
- Good defender, attitude and aptitude
- Excellent at passing the ball
- He knows his team very well
- Individual technical quality
If we consider these
characteristics, I think a “base” player is born for a coach to train him; he
has some virtues his master thinks he should have, but many could be missing
according to the coach’s philosophy. Eventually, I believe a base player will
arrive at the NBA, since we already have many in México.
