MyBestPlay has interviewed  AC Siena's authorities. This italian club plays  in Serie A,  which is one of the championships more competitive in the entire world and by the way, it takes part in MyBestPlay.


-How do you describe your work in the junior teams in AC Siena?
I think that working in this club  is a proud for me  because a young boy has all what he need. I mean training and learning  are much  more pleasant than other institutions. The club is completely professional, the kids study in the morning in our school, and train in the afternoon. On Saturday they play matches. Trainers have work schedules and they’re always willing to advise  and help the football player.

Where do the players come from?
 -The Siena has always had an open door policy, so we receive athletes from a lot of  places around the world. Obviously, most come from Italy, and many European countries as Russia and Turkey. South America also have plenty of junior players with future growing expectations. They share the same desire to succeed day by day and I think that the cultural exchange is great for their learning.

What sort of attention will the foreign players receive?
-Once you’re chosen, you will be given  a Siena scholarship and a full pension from the club in order to make you fell well and  to avoid the homesick, since we’re dealing with little boys.  It's hard to leave the family far away, besides the fact you have to live in a country where you unable to speak your language.  So, we’re organ Italian lessons.

Where is the training camp located and what facilities do you provide?
-It’s located on the outside of the city. There are several soccer fields with different surfaces, teenagers train in a grass field, and the older (Category "Spring" from 17 to 20 years) do so in a stadium where tournament matches are played. These young people will stay in a hotel near the stadium where they enjoy breakfast and dinner together.

What are the benefits of being part of AC Siena?
-First you have to know that we’re talking about  a prestigious club, with a long history in Serie A, and besides Siena is such a great city, both in a culture and architecture way, located between the cities of Florence, and Rome . It’s a worthwhile city for children to learn to play football in high competition.

Having a video of your game clips,  will help you to communicate with coaches, agents and clubs in a profitable way. Actually, athletes who send their video resume have more possibilities to succeed with professional sports organizations.
On a regular basis, agents ask for videos footage because it’s the most useful tool to check the player’s abilities.
Mongi Elfahem Famcop, who is a well-knownTunisian agent, points out: “In fact, videos works as a reference, and taking into account the virtual  environment over Internet, the video becames itself as the real CV of the player. In a nutshell, sportmen who don’t have video footage, are usually not professional people that an agent would want to engage with."

MyBestPlay has carried out some reports and investigations during October. As a result of the progress and the development of our site, we also proved that in the last month, 70 new indoor soccer  users have joined Mybestplay. These athletes were registered as clubs, players, coaches and trainers, and up to now we’ve at least 2800 users of this incredible sport. In the cycling competition, just a few seconds can make the difference. So, if you want to be famous, you need  to train hard. Ambient Intelligence - an intelligent sensor system- helps cyclists to improve their performance.
The new intelligent training system has already proved to be worthy and successful in the labs.
In a research project called Bel-Ami, Mr. Becker and a team of scientists specialized in Ambient Intelligence, at the University of Kaiserslautern, have developed a special sensor network to help cyclists to improve their performance. More than ten riders can train at the same time. Each bike is adjusted with the entire equipment which allows to count the forces on the pedals.

Other important issues are the pulse and frequency, the speed and slope. All these stuff, is collected in a special system  and are sent by radio to a central headquarter where they’re analyzed.
On the whole, the computer make recommendations of the individual training for each sportman: He can see them on a screen or listen them directly through the headphones.
Ambient Intelligence will be ready in the coming months: "It will be the most important test for our system. Cycling means a special challenge because the position is undetermined. They might make subgroups with a certain distance," explains one of the researcher. Scientists are working with students now, but next year they will be testing this system with professional sportmen.

The resistance in football game can’t be compared to travel long distances. The game is highly unsettled and counts with significant changes between intervals.  Thus, when it comes to training, there is no point in having regular breaks by rule. In my view, the traditional resistance works out as a complement, but on the other hand, the best way of training is the game itself.  Games adapted, with different dimensions, rules, number of participants mean not only a strict control of the situation, but also integration and flexibility.
